Lavender Fighting Fish
I love the Autumn season when mushrooms begin to pop up in every nook and cranny out in the wild. Donning my gumboots, raincoat and my camera, there is nothing like escaping into a world of fungi for an hour or two on a dreary afternoon!
Painting with coffee has become an easy way to finish my morning wake-up call. First the pencil sketch, then the teaspoon is used to splash coffee around the paper, and finally finishing with the coffee cup ring. It is always surprising how each coffee painting turns out.

Using old flowers and cutoffs from my garden, I started experimenting with ways to blend pencil sketches with the wild.
